I was log-diving the other day, reading through some of the role-plays Hickory's been in, and it inspired me to do some quick and silly illustrations of a few of my favorite scenes.

This one was from a couple months ago, between Hickory, Regan, Slowbeard, and Regan's crystal ball, 'Rolland', who she uses to make Misfortune Telling predictions.
During a visit to Hippo Island, Regan very unwisely allowed Hickory to babysit her crystal ball while she and Slowbeard went out for a swim. It didn't take long for her to realize her mistake, but by then Hickory had already sped off with Rolland to go exploring.
It seems like whenever Hickory's at a loss for what to do, he instantly defaults to "LET'S GO SPELUNKIN'! "; no exceptions here. He and Rolland discovered a pirate cave (identifiable as such by the obnoxious plethora of bones and eyepatches scattered around) and meandered their way into the heart of it.
Regan was displeased. She dragged Slowbeard along to track the two down and shenanigans ensued.

... To make a long story short, she uses a snowglobe to make predictions now.
