I've seen your "the old ways" before when I was browsing through deviations, and I keep going back to view it... I'm really drawn to the color, it almost glows...looks like a beautiful oil painting, is it? Anyway, I just love it!

what i really like about this and what i think makes it stand out is the color fade. the entire picture fades and even the object in the FG/MG assume the colors of the back round. it places the whole picture into that context of the color fade.

Gorgeous colour blend, gives it a really interesting feel, of life and death. Hard to beleive this came from a photograph, though the details are amazing. Great piece all around.

Awesome is the word. I simply love this, so subtle and easy on the eyes. The environment and the calm organic shapes remind me of the works of Salvador Dali whom is the biggest influence to me. Very nice, I'm going to fav this
Just 1 little critique, I think the sharpness of this image could be improved, maybe atleast for the closest "log" atleast.

That is absolutely gorgeous, where you found this beautiful thing is beyond me. I particularly love the framing of it, with all the blue at the top 2/3's and the scene on the bottom. Beautiful!!
