This was adapted from a Spawn: the Dark Ages cover I did into the main lynchpin character in my Machivarius Point stories, published in Event Horizon under the pseudonym Roger M. Cormack. Still a favourite of mine.

Overall a great job Liam, but I am not too keen on the eyes. If you hand did them then it's awesome, but it looks like a colored photoshop lens flair. I would reccommend taking the time to paint a glow around the eyes and then fool around with the layer settings (style and opacity)in PS to give it the perfect look, more like the glowing green on the chest amulet.
I love seeing your non comic work as it proves that comic artists aren't just one-trick ponies.

You know, this is about 8 years old, and I was a relative Photoshop novice. I wouldn't do the lens flare thing now - although I don't have the dislike for it that many people have. You know what's it's like, the excitement of new tools...

We've talked about this before- you must be one cheerful guy! You must have a way of taking any evil, mad, dark, sick, twisted thoughts and moving them to paper thereby expunging them from yourself. Amazing how you appear to capture the mindset & mood of a character with just a visual still. I can't wait to see what you will do with Deathdealer!

Quite simply astounding. A wonderfully original character design - I like the blend of medieval/viking armour and clothing with the almost futuristic looking visor. Great stuff, deginately a fav.
