Commission for *TrinaSheepChanThank you for commissioning me~ My style changed so much compared to before so I hope this is okay lol;;
EDIT: I apologise to anyone who plays a violin or loves violins. I'm not a perfect artist. I'm okay with criticism that helps and actually describes what is wrong. This is my first time. I did look up references of postures and violins. It's my fault that I did not pay enough attention to detail.
EDIT2: I mistook the position of the chin rest. It can't exactly be fixed but at least I know now for future references.
EDIT3: Tried to make my comments less offensive? If it makes anyone feel any better, if I attempt to draw a violin again I'll try my best to make sure it looks more accurate. Also I'll do heaps more research when it comes to commissions as well. Thank you to anyone who understands

The violin looks lovely, although he looks as if he's bending his arm a little too much. As a referance, if you want a scale for how bit it is, a persons fingers must be able to curl around the scroll (the curly bit at the front) while having a straight arm. Then you know the violin is the correct size.
And yes, violin's are pains in the backsides to draw. But well done anyway!

I love this! If it weren't for your notes, I wouldn't have noticed about the violin and read all the comments posted here. But, hey, you know what? I look at this, see his confident and lovely expression, and can't help but think he's thinking, "I may not know what I'm doing, but I don't care. I'm gonna make this awesome." Hah. It's all a matter of perception and interpretation.
Anyway, what Trina said was true. If you don't do it and experience the mistake, then you can't improve. I read in a book: If you think it's impossible, do it. If you don't do it, then it won't exist.
In any case, seeing this and how you keep going and improving really inspires me to keep trying and working hard. So, thanks~!

besides the chin rest, it's really good! but on the bow, the hand it supposed to be on the black part of the bow where the hair of the bow starts instead uof being up and past it. (sorry, i'm a violinist and this stuff makes me paranoid. so sry if i sound offensive). an th direction of the bow it supposed to be horizontal and parallel against the bridge(the light wooden thing past the fingerboard). but in all, it's quite an amazing job

yes.... beware of instrument players ._. they can be vicious if their instrument is drawn wrong ._. due take care with that adn use references if needed to avoid those scaries that are supposed to be people >o>

The amount of detail on the violin (yes, the violin that has been the source of much controversy! I'm sorry if this sounds totally like beating a dead horse D: ) is incredible. I really admire how your art has matured since I started following your art (hopefully doesn't come across as too stalker-ish... =A='' ). I really liked your art back then. Now, is just... wow. Incredible. 
Though, it is true that you aren't really supposed to pull the bow across so close to the fingerboard... my little brother used to do that all the time when he was first starting to play viola, and his tone was... not exactly the best. LOL.
One final note -- I really want those clothes.

Very nice, even though I'm a violinist I can't draw a violin at all so well done. One thing for the bow hand, the hand shape is good though the bow should be held lower, more on the 'rectangular' part. But that's all besides the chin rest ^^

Violin is amazingly good, he seems to be playing pretty fast and you can note that from the flowing from his clothes.

the only thing that i can see is that i think (Think!) that the head would be a little bit more angled toward the violin. I think. But other than that, this is really good! i made an attempt at drawing a violin once, but i failed tremendously! This makes me want to try again...
