This is a portrait of the very beautiful Scarlett Johannson. I loved the pose, once again, like my johnny portrait reference it's something a bit different from the regular stare at the camera trick and it seems to emanate something a bit special other than superficiality you normally see.Anyhoo, it's taken about 2 months on and off. I've been working on it during my uninspired period and finally managed to get it completed. as it took so long and it was sitting in my portfolio it ended up getting kneadable eraser on the face and staining it, i tried to get rid of it but it didnt work. i'm really annoyed at that so please try and ignore...
Hb and 2b mech pencils.
Oh and before i stop rambling, i must mention that i drew this using the circulation method quoted on brians website he is such a genius that if he offers advice, you take it! well worth checking out.

your welcome... thanks for the link. i love the idea of using earbuds to blend! i use my fingers and i never pay attention to where i put my hands so i end up with my drawing full of smudges..

It's gorgeous! I had drawn a portrait of Scarlett Johanson a while back, but it mysteriously vanished from my dorm room, along with several textbooks. I never even got to finish it.

She's beautiful... I tryed to draw her months ago but after some bad atempts i just got to the conclusion her exquisite beauty was way too complicated to put down on paper... then i saw this and I felt so happy for finally see someone doing her justice. BRAVO...!
