A long time in the making but generally very happy with this one... the model was charlize theron however i wasn't too bothered about it looking like her, what i really liked about the reference was the theme and composition! My first time drawing rocks... believe me on the original they look a lot better... the contrast has been lost on the scan and they have come out quite light and scribbly in (what's supposed to be) the dark areas! very happy with them on the original, not so much on the scan! Let me know what you think!edit... ok i have scanned again with a better scanner! it makes such a difference!

I like the expression in her face...especially in her eyes..., which is the most important part of a picture I think...

Great piece.
You have created a great sense of weight in this piece but without it being over-bearing to the general figure.
The figure structure and facial work is both created with depth and general character, along with feeling of overal freedom.

You're welcome,and I do understand completely about how the scanner
can make things look blotchy...it happens to a lot of my art work
especially the graphite ones.
