I think this picture is.. Heartwarming. It reminds me that when everything is dim and grey, there will be a helping hand to hold and protect me during the bad times. It's comforting.

You know in Poland there is no halloween-there is "Swieto Zmarlych" it means holyday of every dead person, especially in Your familly. We are going on cementary, praying and lighting candles, walking....it is on 1 of November. Your photo remindes me the atmosphere of this holyday in Poland It is great

Ich wünschte ich hätte mehr Zeit um deine Bilder zu kommentieren. Du hast wirklich sehr schöne Bilder, die du in letzter Zeit heraufgeladen hast. Nächstes Wochenende sollte es vielleicht klappen. Dann wirst du mehr von mir hören.
Ich habe dieses Bild gewählt um dir einen Comment zu schreiben, da es wirklich ein absolut schönes Bild ist. Es wiederspiegelt die jetztige Jahreszeit sehr gut und kombiniert etwas statisches (die Statue) mit dem Vergänglichen (die Blätter), welches sich vorübergehend in die Hände des ewig währenden gelegt hat, um für eine kurze Zeit Geborgenheit zu finden.

I opened this with all fingers and toes crossed, hoping that this was available as a print! I can't begin to explain how hard I fell in love with this photograph. It's so beautiful. The cold stone hands cradling the warm leaves... what a capture. Absolutely gorgeous. I would buy this in a heartbeat. But for now i'll settle for giving it a favorite.
