My stencil tutorial finished. I donβt really think its that helpful as a tutorial but hopefully this will get some more people doing stencil art, you never know. Anyway its done in flash and all the drawing where done really quick so I didnβt bother to shade them sorry. Anyways rather then reading this check it out and tell me what you think.Related content

this is really cool, i've done a couple of stencils before but now i know where im going wrong with the underbleed thing. which do YOU use, spray glue or tape?

hmmm... if we glue our stencil on the wall and are finished with it, then how do we take it off without tearing it apart?? :S

The spray glue is quite temporary and allows the material (stencil) to hold up against the wall but then can be pealed off with ease. Hope that helps.

it will be useful if you upload a tutorial to make stencils of photos using photoshop

hey this is an awesome tutorial, I'd also suggest you mention that Xrays work flippen rad for stencils, and if you have trouble sticking the paper on it, you can clean off the black off the xray and put it under neath, then one of either two things, redraw it on the xray or just be very carefull and cut it out.

wow that was great and prefect timing too, when i found your tutorial, i had JUST finished talking to another student about stencilling cause ive been browsing all morning and checking it out. im so excited to get things started and your little project helped me millions, just what i needed!!! how did you know? hahah anyways keep up the good work!! and thanks again : )

now this might sound as a stupid question...
but i printed this one stencil out on transparency, but it went freaky, i mean the ink was "bleeding"...

Ahh, There is a special kind of paper which is kinda like an a4 sized sticker... it sticks to most surfaces and its wat i use just because it totally stops underspray and is quick to put up. Anyway Nice Tutorial. I think it will get some people stenciling.
