In Memory of Elendil, son of Amandil, of the line of Elros Tar-Minyatur - last Lord of Andúnië in vanished Numenor, High King of Arnor & Gondor, King of all the Dúnedain, perhaps the most distinguished Elf-friend between the time of Earendil and the days of Mr Frodo Baggins, called Elendil the Tall and Elendil the Fair.

Born in the year 3119 of the Second Age, died in the year 3441 of the Second Age - a Great Captain, a Great Friend, a Great King and the Ultimate Ancestor of many who were themselves Great & Good.

Well done, thou good & faithful servant.
