Makes me wish Mark Witton would do one on what would a realistic Kong would look like when he's two legged, like Toho's Kong, the 1976 version and 2017 version.

I'd actually be interested in seeing his take on an UN-Realstic Kong, but in all honesty one would love to see his take on SO MANY things (particularly the dinosaurs from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's THE LOST WORLD) that I'd almost certainly love to see his take on two-leg Kong despite my own preference for a King of Skull Island that can function as a quadruped AND a biped.

Looks a bit...oversized for realism, but still an excellent picture.

My dear fellow, this is KING KONG - Realism is for Lesser Mortals!

Would it be plausible a hand design keeping the strong supporting function of the forelimb, but preserving the handling hability of fingers? For example, with a firm back of the hand as a stanchion or pillar, supported by the knuckles, and small, agile fingers.

That would be interesting. Well developed manipulators are a huge evolutionary advantage, so any ape that grows to this size would certainly not want to lose those. I like your idea, combining weight-bearing bones inside of the hand, while keeping the fingers dexterous.

That's not the only reason he's the King, but it certainly helps!
