Well, Loki gave birth to Sleipnir while he was a female Horse. He is the father Hel, Fenrir and Jörmungand (their mother is the giantess Angrboda).
His wife, Sigyn, had Narfi and Vali, two 'normal' (asgardian standarts ^^) boys. So where's the problem?

I admit after watching the avengers I too dug into Norse mythology, and laughed when I found out Loki fucked a horse to stop some giant from jouten hiem from building his wall.

after i started getting really interested in tom hiddleston version of loki I tried looking him up in norse myth and was like WTF. HE F*CKED A HORSE. A MALE HORSE. AND GOT PREGNANT. AND IT HAD 8 LEGS.
after that i decided because hes hawt so he did none of those things because I refuse to have a crush on a character who f*cks animals and makes mpreg real.

Well, I guess you can't truely compare Marvel's Loki and the norse mythology's loki, since they're many, huge differences.
Like also, Marvels loki is a frost giant, while in norse mythology, Loki is half god, half jötunn.
Honestly, I like the norse version of Loki better C: Since it's the original, and probably also because I'm danish, and the norse mythology have therefore been a great part of my country's history

I knew a little bit about Loki before Thor and the Avengers and Marvel happend to me... So it was funny to me that Thor and Loki were brothers there... and Loki has lots more kids with different women... and it is really funny to compare the two...

I imagine that the Marvel version is slightly different to Norse mythology, in the sense that in the world of Marvel, Loki did try to take over Earth and is probably still a virgin.
