In darkroom for the color adjustments.Some people asked me about this... why do you post pictures there?
In the category photography are a lot of recolored pictures, I believe more than hals of the pictures in there are recolored! Mine where always in photography untill someone thought that they didn't belong in there and the staff just placed it in photomanipulations
So now you know why

Well, Digital Darkroom is still within the category of Photography.
And technically, that's exactly what it is. I agree that Photo-manipulation is not the right category, since she's using comparable darkroom-like techniques to adjust the image digitally, not altering the subject matter or creating new images with stock photography.
A little touch up for color correction is expected in traditional photography, but when the touch up is designed to become a primary aspect of the photo it really becomes a part of the image itself, not just as simple as post processing. I think she deserves credit for that level of work used to bring out this sort of image. I think it's better to be categorized this way for the credit alone.
But that's just me.
