Tom Chaplin, the singer from keane. I'm all into keane lately (thanks to a conversation with someone, hehe
) and I was looking for someone to draw. Well, the someone seemed to be Tom! I'm happy how his shirt came out, but less satisfied with his eye... but well, I'm not going to change it anymore. Muhaha!

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean. It has to be extra difficult doing real-life portrait drawings too because you really need it to look perfect! I stick to illustrating because I am a perfectionist who gets angry when things are not exact...so I keep things abstract

Actually that is interesting! I always get super excited when I hear a Keane song in mainstream media

And thanks for the picture! I won't have time to draw it soon, sadly, because I'm in the middle of a testweek right now, and I'll be going to Rome with school in two weeks. Which is very nice, but doesn't give me any time to draw... But after that I'll have a holiday for two weeks, so I'll have plenty of time then!

Yeah I know... his eye keeps on bothering me. I erased and tried it again a hundred times, but it just didn't want to be put on paper the way I wanted it... sadly. I'm afraid if I try to fix it again I'll go throught the paper
