Description I usually do one serious graphite drawing each year.
Last year I forgot about it and this year... well... it hasn't been the best, art wise :/
But then yesterday - when I was supposed to sleep, naturally - I decided to make one. Because I really miss graphite and fear that I'm losing my touch with it...

So, since I'm pretty darn nostalgic at the moment, I just had to draw Zeithan. My first character ever and my all time favourite
I spent the entire day ignoring my real lesson in order to finish this

I am quite pleased with this anyway, since it's much better than the last graphite portrait I drew of Zeithan
So enjoy!

He looks peaceful here, almost smiling, and I like that.

For being a pain, his hair is great, the white streak perhaps even better than the black parts.

But what I like the most here are that clear, vivid eyes.

That doesn't happen very often... that's he's peaceful, I mean. He grins a lot but rarely smiles and remains calm.

You see more detail in the white part if nothing else

I like to see the evolution on his jaw line, on this pic and the sketch you showed me. It looks closer and closer to my mind's eye view of him, while still beeing quite cartoony.'

Zeithan is ridiculously difficult to draw really, and I've had him for so long that I almost forget how he's supposed to look :/
