Question, how do you intend to "run with 2 starters" in 1 playthrough? Have someone trade you an infant starter early on? Lovely drawing btw

I own a first model 3ds and a new 3ds. I always buy both versions of Pokemon games, One as my main game and the other is for special runs(nuzlocke/challenge/Themed/or just for fun).Β

I love Litten's riled up fur, given this context. xD
If the Chinese leaks are confirmed to be 100% accurate, then I'm choosing Popplio, despite originally being team Litten. On the other hand, the Chinese leaks also suggested two forms for each starter's final evolution. If so, then I want to see the alternate form for Litten's before I finish my team-building.
Out of curiosity, which 2 starters did you choose in White version? (I did the same, Serperior and Samurott.)

The only parts on "Beltigre" I don't like are that it doesn't have cat-like hind legs and that it's palms are too small, Other than that I love it's design. I love how ferocious it looks and I like it's potential to learn Fire, Dark and Fighting moves, it looks like a good offensive Mon (Hoping for Fire/Dark to break the chain though). I'm going to be playing a 7th Gen only run for my first game and so far have Litten/Popplio/Rockruff/Mudsdale for my team. If the leaks are true, I love the starters and Rockruff getting evolution variety, not just for my playthrough but they'd also be great in the same way Eevee's great.

I agree about Beltigre's design; the hands look ridiculous, all fingers and no palm. From what I've figured out, Fire/Dark is going to happen because it's fighting style is supposed to be that of a heel wrestler, the kind who fight dirty (since dark types use under-handed techniques in general).
I plan to have only 7th-gen Pokemon on my first team, too. The only ones I know for sure that I'm going to raise are Popplio, Lurantis, and Salandit. Though I have hopes for Rockruff and also really like Mudsdale, I want to discover the ones that won't be revealed at all prior to the release date. I love receiving new Pokemon of the surprise/shock variety that I uncover during a first play-through. (My fingers are crossed for the potential pseudo-legends and the rumored bred-typed cat.)

Do you think the Alolan forms count as Gen7 mons? I really need a fairy for my team and I want Mimikyu or Alolan Ninetails but Idk if A. Ninetails counts.

I personally don't count them, since the Alolan forms are merely redesigns of first-gen Pokemon. After I've played through once with entirely new creatures, I'll definitely go back and get Ninetales since it is my favorite Pokemon. ^^
I'd say go for it, though! If you really want Ninetales then choose it, it is sorta "new" within seventh-gen.

I really like the background lighting, it looks like they're in a cave/volcano. (maybe the cave has a fire in it?)
Also I love the cutesy detail with Litten's muzzle squished against Popplio's nose.
The shading/lightning in the entire piece is great too! Just the entire artwork itself is amazing~!
