But our only kilns are inside, and though I've been told I'm theoretically allowed to stink up the entire building for a couple of days, I need to figure out ventilation, etc...

Very organic, like a water-worn pebble at the base, like a seed as a whole...nice contrasting textures above and below, nicely muted colours... good job my friend!, Peter.

Thanks Peter, this one has a charmed life, nearly lost the neck on turning and part of the base blew off on the first firing due to my impatience in not letting it dry properly, but each mishap or happening has added to its character. I'm very drawn to organic forms and pebble and seeds are often an inspiration
