Description
The full version of the Final Fantasy Dissidia drawing depicting the protagonists of games I, VIII and VI on the left and the antagonists of games IX, VII and II on the right.I decided to display the symbol or logo next to each character originally to fill up the space on the paper but I quite like how it turned out. It was surprisingly time consuming drawing such small symbols but I'm glad I did them.
Time: Many, many hours.
Tools:
A4 smooth Bristol paper,
Mechanical pencils, 2B, HB and 2H,
Regular pencils, 5H, HB, 6B,
Blending stumps,
Keadable eraser and regular eraser,
Ruler and grids for proportions.

Dude when I saw the thumbnail I thought it was just a greyscale version of the original 3d renders... but I stand corrected. THAT. Is a lot of skill you have. There are just no words; the characters, logos, everything. Amazing job, keep it up!

Can I start by saing that the way you draw hair is mindblowing? Just sayin'.
You've done some seriously good work here. I like the way you've pulled off the shading. In fact, it's so well done that in the tiny little thumbnail that I could see I thought the shading was digital! Then I see that you actually did this by hand, andβ¦whoa. I've taken a few drawing courses, and my shading has always beenβ¦not great. (It's not nearly as easy as you'd think! Gah!)
The attention to the little detailsβaccents on the armor/clothing, subtle nuances in shading adding just the right tension to expressionsβis what makes this really stand out, though. I think I've already said this, but this is some seriously amazing work.
And the symbols? Actually a stroke of genius. And so well done!

Shading is not as easy as it seems at first, it takes me a long time to even get backgrounds done which can be just one continuous tone... practice certainly makes perfect, or at least helps. The symbols also took up quite a bit of time even though they're so small.

Yess you should, I've just seen your new piece and it's just amazing.
I've not started anything else yet, I guess I should soon before I forget what I learnt from the last one, but I seriously need to pick up some tips from somewhere to improve.
