Dude this is so cool. Your right man, ThemRock is kick-ass. Is it me or douse she look alittle older compared to ThemRocks depiction? I like the background (how did you do that?). It's like there but not like photograph there. I'm sorry thats not a good description. The stump looks cool. It kinda looks like it's a stool thats gonna stand up and walk off on it's four roots/legs.

The background was done by just playing with the opacity of that, and dropping in some pictures of painted graffiti lines and wood grain underneath.

This is a really nice piece man, love the hair!
I noticed some of the lines overlap each other tho, such as the tree line on her left foot.
If you build them up in layers and fill in the flat colors to cover the lines underneath then thats avoidable.
I really like the colors on this and that background texture is a real nice touch.

Yeah, what I need to do is go back into the inks layer and just erase that out... or even better, care more when inking not to intersect the lines... which on anything important I tend to do.

i gotta go with German on the foot deal, and that hair probably needs a bit more detail.. looks weird as a solid against the rest of the comp.

yeah... I half agree with ya, half protest ya... I like the hair as a flat shape design wise, but also think some more detail would be nice... and the more I see the feet, the more I like the quirkyness of them...

yeah man, illo is a decent little program... but if you are using flash to ink, it is pretty much the same idea.
