FASHION!Shading got so frustrating I almost abandoned it altogether until I remembered; when in doubt TEXTURE! Kind of works. Kind of a cop out. It is what it is. They're still beauties and I heart them so.

I really, really dig this. The textures really make it stand out, and works really well with the relatively muted color palette. My favorite details are the butterfly motif in Betsy's top, and Storm's hair which is just immaculate

Thanks so much. Honestly, I started playing with the more muted palette and textures out of convenience but I really do enjoy the overall look for pin-ups.
I feel it safe to say I will neeeever attempt another crotchet top, but I am pleased with it.

I've only drawn Carol once and in costume with Dazzler and (now) Spectrum: Charge of the Light Brigade and while I don't have any plans for more, ya never know.
