Description
This Lighthouse is at the most southern tip of the UK, located at Corbiere, south west corner of Jersey.This is the first concrete built lighthouse in the Bristish Isles.

I think the clouds look fine myself, i also think a nice blue sky with a couple of billowy clouds would have looked good, but you take what your given

My own thoughts as well. The pics I am sorting out from Algarve most there is not a cloud in sight. Even missed sunsets and sunrises because not clouds to add interest. Last two days were good though.

Hi Loretta, yes back and some very happy memories of a wonderful place. I will be ploughing through my dA, so it will be on Tuesday before any new pics. Sunsets an Sunrises unbelievable.

The cloud was over the sea, on land it was fairly clear and warm.

Hi Dave. Saved this one till today, knowing your interest in Lighthouses.
Off to sunny Portugal, Algarve. Hired a Villa with pool for a week, just to chill out and take photos. Each of season treat.

So that is actually a road leading down? Hopefully the tide doesn't come in real fast

The tide is quite fast and a klaxton is sounded to get anyone daft enough to still be on the walkway. They have lost a number of people as there is a plaque to those who have perished.

Common sense is all it take. Some people think you can beat nature. It is a wonderful place and well worth the visit.

That must be the stables...(for the race horse of the same name - "Corbiere").

Change of plan though. Not the Azores now but the Algarve.. The time scale was not good so had to change our plans. Ah Oh.
