About the parts of her underwater, I'm trying to decide if the painting method is working, or if I should ink and color lines to represent her arms and legs.Related content

Painting method looks good. Only things I'd say is try to see of you could add some more light inn the water, looks a little dark. And Annies chest should be submerged also, unless they ready are flotation devices heh :-D

There are two ways to approach that:
1. see if you can find videos or images of people swimming and see if you can match depths in the reference material with this pic.
2. show more definition with the arms since they're closer to the surface, probably could stop the outline around the knees.
At any rate if you totally ignore these suggestions I will not be offended

Yeah, but images of a person in a similar pose that aren't in a swimming pool are rare. I kind of have a bunch of different elements in different pictures. I think that unless the water is really shallow, that everything below the water would be very distorted, although maybe her arms would be more like the over water color.

Well I'm not really expecting an exact match to that pose. What I meant (and said poorly) is to find something similar to the pose there and try to match as best you can.
However I have no idea what in the blue hell I'm doing when it comes to art so don't mind me.

Yay checker board bikini. I like the 13 ear ring.
If I could mention a few observations though, her eyes look way to light (especially compared to the line art color), the inside hallow part of the ring should also be flesh colored (instead of silver) and the string used as the chain for her ring shouldn't be visible to the going across the ring, I'd think it would loop around the band of the ring then go back up her chest and around her neck. I know it is a work in progress, just offering my opinion.

Her eyes, nose and top of her head aren't inked yet. I waited to see what the conclusion was about her lower half first.
About her ring, it seems like it would be pretty thick, but maybe it's too thick here. The chain is going through the ring, but the ring is thick enough that we see it going down the inside.

Yeah that is what I was thinking due to the WIP status.
Ah, yeah maybe a bit too thick. The angle that we are looking at the ring at (almost looking at it in a top view) makes it kinda look a inch thick when looking at it from the inside but looking at it from the exterior part of the band it looks much smaller. I am not sure if that makes any sense. xD
