Description
So I decided to do more characters from popular shows. This time, I did Jet, the Freedom Fighter from Avatar: The Last Airbender.

I’ll tell you one thing, when I saw this guy, I was almost instantly reminded of Kabal from Mortal Kombat because of his taste in hookswords. So, I decided to do something I wanted to see for a while and make him look the part.

I hear how Jet died in the show by taking a Stone Pillar to the chest. I figured the fatal blow he took must’ve damaged his internal organs, especially his lungs. And because Katara could barely be able to heal him, drastic measures were take to save his life. This led to him getting stuck with a rebreather mask and oxygen/gas canister which he can’t take off. And not to mention, his name now makes sense, since he Waldo given enhanced speed and agility that went well with mastery over his swords. As an additional weapon, he was also given sun-and-moon blades to go along with his swords.

All of this was done so that he could be remade as a living weapon. But his mind and spirit could not be broken any more after what has happened to him. Jet escaped, and began to work in the shadows before returning in contact with Aang and his friends. When he confronted them, he thought himself a freak what has happened to him, but Katara reassured him that he was free now, forgiven and welcomed back as his own man.

Zuko, being with the Gaang at this point, said that Jet never looked better…leading to the returning freedom fighter clutching the former prince by the neck, telling him not to mock him. When Aang managed to get Jet off of Zuko, the firebender managed to let out that he wasn’t mocking Jet. Even Sokka admitted that Jet looked pretty cool now, with the new look and personality.

Honestly, not sure where I was going with the colors. I didn’t want to make him look too much like Kabal, so I tried to keep much of what he looked like in on this design. Overall, it looks pretty good, especially the mask.

It’s based off “Officer Kabal” in the MK11 Gear.
