's character Unico (the neon green cat chick in smexy red leather) now joins my panty party [link] BY PUNISHING ART THEIVES!!!!!! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA. *clears throat*What's worse than art theives? ART THEIVES THAT HATE UNICORNS! So I strapped on unicorn horns on their heads, and put them in ABNOXIOUS FLAMING HOT PINK lingerie, because it's what I like.
And what better to portray theives as, than two [hideously] devious vixens? Awe...I'm sure they're not THAT bad...

Ignore the previous reply, lol. Thought I was talking to somebody different, I don't get this picture, in one way I don't want to to see my character in the place of one of those vixens, but in another way, I totally want to.
Here's why I think why:
Don't-Because of what those vixens are meant to represent, Art Thieves.
Do-Because seeing my character in a situation like this would be funny and cool to me.

lol bondage... can be punishment... or bliss... all depends on who is the one being tied up. Art thieves could always be so devilish they take pleasure in bondage punishment...
I'd say bondage could actually be perceived as being only 35% punishment...

I felt that I was relying too much on visual references, I couldn't get the right saturation for watercolor pencils to work with my scanner, and people stole my art and did stuff like this to it

Aww, well that sucks. Personally I think you are really good, and you shouldn't have let what that b***h did discourage you at all. But I guess the think with scanners is understandable, though there are a LOT of artists on here that have that problem.
But I don't understand what you mean that you were relying too much on visual references, could you perhaps explain that before I drive myself nuts trying to figure out what you mean?

Visual references, as in I collected a lot of references for anatomy, designs, and all that.
However over time I've learned that beginning artists are suppose to rely heavily on references in order to develop the skills to pull anatomy/designs out of their head...

Oh, well that's no big deal, everybody learns at a different pace, for example I spent years learning to draw cars by tracing them out of those learn to draw books, then I spent a few more years actually following those steps to draw them, now I can draw cars from scratch. It all takes time, different amounts of time depending on the artist.
Don't put yourself down.

Yeah I didn't know that, back then... people harp on others really badly for tracing, but I haven't traced since I was in middle school, but tracing is still a first step that's required for building the necessary skills.
Bullying tends to delude peoples' perspective, a bit...
Pretty much if enough people bully someone in to believing that relying on references is a talentless thing before the person being bullied has even learned that referencing is a required step.
I may still draw again some day, but probably not anthros. XD
