Tactics and navigation, Sapphire Rivers is one of the most intelligent members on the Lightspeed Protectors. She's empathetic, kind-hearted, reserved, and is always willing to help her team out whether it's in a strategy meeting or on the battlefield. Sapphire is Ulrich's first crewmate and a close friend from their years in high school. She's also an Aqua Wielder, being able to manipulate water to the point of stopping rain from falling. Her favorite activities include looking at maps, surfing, and relaxing on the beach.

Her main weapon is an compactable energy spear that's usually powered by a waterfall crystal, although she's no stranger to ranged weapons, preferring the Laserpulse blaster, a freeze-ray called the Hailstorm, a water cannon called a Geyser, and a dance bomb called the Groovinade. Her fighter is an Aquarina, a subermersible built for exploration that she had heavily modified to be a space-faring combat vehicle.
