Freya had spoken with Eva as soon as she knew when her boyfriend's birthday was and made sure she had the entire day off. As soon as Parker left in the morning to go to his own job at Through the Looking Glass, she started buzzing about their suite to clean and make everything perfect for when he got back home. Once the simple little cake was done and set out on their small table, she decided to go take a quick shower and get in comfy PJ's to let Parker know she was keeping the celebrations simple like he had asked. At the last minute she decided to throw on one of his soft button down shirts instead of the form fitting top that came with the silky shorts. With nothing else left to do, she laid out on one of her old antique rugs and spread her curly blonde hair out over he head to dry. She started to giggle and sing as she ruffled her hair in her fingers, "I've lost my goddamn miiiind ..It happens all the tiiime.. I can't believe I'm actually meant to beee heeere.. Trying to consume! The drug in me is youu!"Even though she was singing one of his songs she still missed him and decided to roll over and grab her transmitter to let him know what was waiting for him when he got home. "Hello everyone," she said in her raspy British voice as she returned to her spot on the carpet, "I know it's been a month since you all heard from me, but I was attending to work and personal things. Such as my wonderful, hardworking boyfriend.." A small giggle escaped her lips and met with a slight blush as she drew one leg up and looked over at the camera lazily. "He's been such a good little love that I took the day off of work to make sure everything was perfect for his birthday celebration tonight. If you're worried you didn't receive an invitation, I must reassure you that this is a VIP event and space was limited. I am sorry so many missed out, but can you blame me for wanting such a brilliant man all to myself on a night like this?" She was caught a little of guard by how easy it was for her to be a little sultry and sassy, but she kept the attitude as she blew a kiss at the camera. "Hurry home Love so the party can start!"

Parker had just finished up his last delivery in The City, getting back to his Ferrari. He jumped into the driver's seat eagerly when he heard Freya's voice over his transmitter only to freeze up when he saw what she was wearing. "Jesus christ.." He muttered, rubbing the back of his thick fuzzy head. He sped off into the direction of their home, shaking his head now and then as he thought about just how stunning his girlfriend was. When he was in the parking lot, he took his time going into the hotel and upper levels.

She was still laid out on the rug and humming quietly when she heard the door click and open. For just a second she almost stayed on the floor, but she had made it a habit to greet him home by jumping in his muscular, tattooed arms; so why should this day be any different? It only took her a moment to get up, but as soon as she saw him come through the door she took a few quick steps to jump into his arms with her arms around his neck and her legs around his waist. "Welcome home birthday boy!" The only difference in this greeting from others was instead of quick little kisses all over his face, she only gave him one passionate one instead as she already began to play with his fuzzy grown out sides.

Quickly getting his muscular arms around her, Parker returned the surprisingly passionate kiss with an equal amount of passion himself. "This is some surprise Freya!" He looked her over as he still held his girlfriend in his arms, laughing a bit, "And shit.. You're the most beautiful woman I've ever had the pleasure of looking at. I hope you didn't miss me too much this morning.." Parker strolled a little further on into their home, looking around, "Any other surprises I should know about beautiful?"

"Nope, just this love," even though he couldn't see her hands behind his head, Freya still did jazz hands with a big smile, "Surpriiiiise!~" She giggled excitedly before she started giving him his usual sweet little kisses to bathe him in love. "Well, I lied. I did make you a cake and got you a little something, but nothing too fancy. I kept it simple like you asked." She finally loosened her grip to slide down his chest until her toes touched the ground, "I hope you don't mind that I borrowed your shirt. It just looked so much more comfortable at the time."

"I don't mind at all, but it looks huge on you," He grinned, looking her over now that she was standing, "You make it look really good though." Parker put a finger under Freya's chin so he could give her one more kiss before pulling away and tossing off his long sleeve shirt. "Once I throw a different shirt on, I'll be happy to see that cake." He jogged over to the closet, grabbing a much looser shirt that would be low cut and open at the sides so his girlfriend was free to admire his work all she liked.

"You don't have to rush, love. I'm sure I could find something to do while you took a shower if you wanted to." While he was in the closet she skipped and spun over tot he kitchen to get a few candles to stick on top of the simple candy cake she made for them to enjoy. "I already have an order in down at the cafe' for dinner. All we have to do is call down for it when we are ready for it." Since she spent the whole day cleaning, it was natural for her to grab the shirt he threw off and just lay it over the back of the lounge by the piano. "I wanted you to just be able to relax and do whatever your heart desires tonight. You should have heard Brandon when I said there was no need to find an alley to party in tonight, but he said if we were going to be selfish he'd rather spend the night with his Finny? Who ever that is.. I thought his boyfriends name was Austin."

Parker laughed as he came back out, "Yes, his boyfriend's name is Austin, I'm pretty sure Finny is his cat." He strolled over to Freya and wrapped his arms around her for a warm hug, "Thank you for what you've done for me already today. Tonight should be about you relaxing too, a'ight?" Parker smiled, letting his hands slide down her arms so he could take her hands in his own, "Should we have dessert now or later? Either way, you're lookin' real sweet to me and I think I need just another taste.." He leaned down, giving Freya a kiss with a small smile.

She pushed up onto her toes so she could return the kiss, "You're most welcome and you can have as many little tastes as you fancy. I have nothing but sugar for you." With a small giggle, she traded a few more kisses with him until she was ready to show off her little creation, "You must try some other sugar as well, Love. I made you a candy cake!" Freya kept one of his hands in hers as she tugged him over to the table to show off her confection of perfection. "I promise it's not just a barrel of chocolate parcels made out of candy sticks. There's a bit of vanilla cake down there under it all."

"Holy shit, beautiful!" He let go of her hand just to carefully take a kit kat off, biting into it eagerly. "I haven't had one of these since I got locked up, holy shit, it's like drugs.." Parker finished it off and quickly took another to have a bite of it. "You're amazing, ya know that right?" He looked at Freya with the sweetest smile, "Thank you so much, this looks amazing. Just right."

"You deserve it Parker," she tucked herself close into his side and ran one hand down his exposed side thanks tot he shirt he put on when he came home, "You work hard and keep yourself out of trouble. Plus, you've been nothing but my tattooed prince charming since day one." Freya kissed her boyfriend's shoulder and skipped off towards the kitchen to get them drinks and plates, "What do you want to sip on love? I'll get it so you can try out your cake. I can't make you wait any longer!"

"Maybe prince charming was meant to look like me, but I'm definitely certain you're meant to be a princess," Parker grinned, looking over his shoulder at his girlfriend, "How about you surprise me? I could go for anything, I'm just more focused on this amazing cake you made me. How many times have I said amazing?" He laughed, taking a seat, "I'll keep sayin' 'cause I mean it beautiful."

"You're too sweet to me, Love.. And to think, I only got you one present. Anyone else would be positively mortified, but I get praise for doing the bare minimum." Being as innocent as she was, Freya brought back two glasses of milk when anyone else would have brought an expensive bottle of champagne. She set his glass down in front of him with a plate, fork and cutting knife before she sat next to him so she could leave a hand on his leg. "I'm glad you're so grateful though, I did it all for you because.. well.. You're my man and worthy of so much more praise."

Parker laughed quietly, grabbing the glass of milk for a sip. "How'd get this lucky, huh? It's why I'm so sweet to you, I can't help it." He went ahead and grabbed a knife to cut into his cake, putting a slice on her plate even before his own. "I thought it looked good on the outside, but it looks damn good inside too." He immediately dug into his cake, groaning at the taste, "Freya this is probably the best cake I've ever had in my life."

She was quick to take a bite right after he did and shook his knee with her hand, "It's settled, I get all our dessert recipes from my boss from now on. I asked Eva for a bit of advice this morning and she came back down with this book she edited herself. Said she memorized it and we could keep it." Freya took a few more small bites before she decided she needed to sit back and really savor how moist and delicious the simple french vanilla cake was. "Looks like that cookbook was another little gift for you then! I'll be sure to put it to good use for you."

"You got this recipe from your boss? We should make some of those recipes often then, we could be fillin' this place up with fancy tasting good stuff all the time beautiful. I'll do all the work too, since you're that elegant business woman downstairs while I'm stayin' home most days." He took another excited bite of his cake, already looking forward to some baking. "I kinda forgot about the good shit when I got outta prison, but I'd say that's a good thing since I'm not over-indulging."

"I find that since you've come around I've been indulging more than I often did considering where I live, but I'd rather send carbons home to me mum and dad than spend it." She took her hand off his leg and instead put her legs in his lap, crossed at the ankle with her sparkling hamsa charm from Russell she never took off. "But with Aldous in town, I would rather spend my pay before he comes looking for it. Did you see him the other day when he came for the replica Mona Lisa? An absolute mess if you ask me.." Freya could hear her accent becoming more prominent with her temper rising, so she quickly changed the subject and tried to control just how English she really was. "I put the book up on top the fridge in the kitchen. If you wanted to try your hand at some of the soups and dinners I would be forever grateful."

"What's he need with a Mona Lisa anyway?" Parker shrugged it off, moving on the second he noticed how it bothered his girlfriend. "I'll have a look right after this, promise beautiful." He rubbed her leg with a smile, taking a few more bites of his cake. "How about a soup and steak? You know how I am about steaks.." He laughed, picking out another kitkat to have by itself. "Unless you've already had something planned for tonight?"

She let out a small little moan with her mouth full of cake, shaking a perfectly manicured finger in the air as she quickly swallowed, "Nonono! When I heard you were coming home I called down to the cafe and told them to start cooking the biggest steak they had. Medium rare, just like you like it love. I also ordered baked potatoes as well. I wanted to make sure you were fed well. I just got to call down and they'll bring it up." Freya quickly set her fork down and pulled her legs back just a little as she sat up, "Do you want me to tell them to bring it up? You can open your present now too if you'd like."

Parker grinned, shaking his head at his adorable girlfriend. "We can save dinner for a little late, but I'm interested in what ya got me. I'm willin' to bite, let's see if you got my something simple yet still perfect. Coming from you though? I'll love whatever you have whether it even makes sense or not." He couldn't help but lean in to give her a sweet kiss on the cheek, "I'm even gonna say thanks now beautiful."

She turned her cheek just a bit more to give him a proper kiss while she took her legs back and put her feet on the floor. "I think you'll be even more thankful when you see what I managed to get you," she gave him a few more kisses before she got up and went to get his present that was hidden in the piano bench. "Don't be shy about the paper on the box, I was bored and just painted some plain paper I had with watercolors. The real present is inside the box." Freya sat back down in her chair next to Parker and put her legs up in his lap again before she leaned forward and held out his present.

"This box is so cute though," Parker chuckled, looking it over before tearing the watercolor packaging off. His eyes immediately lit up at the sight of the huge watch, grabbing it out of its case to put it on. "Oh this is sleek, beautiful. Sweet, sleek and sexy.." He grinned, looking at Freya with a wink, "Just like you. Everything has been perfect, you've done this all wonderfully. Thanks again, I'm one lucky guy."

"Oh for heavens sakes.." She put her hands over her blushing cheeks and inched over to the edge of her chair so she could wrap her arms around Parker's neck and pull him in for a sweet kiss, "You are so welcome, Love. You asked for simple and I gave it my best shot. I'm glad you liked the watch though." Freya sat back in her own chair and took a sip of her milk to calm herself, "I almost talked to Russell and had him make you a big watch with lots of pretty gems in it, but that can be something for next year.. or even Christmas if you're interested."

"Gems, huh?" He puckered his lips in thought, cracking a huge smile, "I'll admit it, that'd be a nice Christmas present. I'll even let ya spoil me beautiful, you can do whatever you like for Christmas for me. I mean, I've got my own plans for ya.. If I can spoil you, you can spoil me. Sound fair?" Parker looked over at her, hoping she would agree to those terms. There was already a bunch of ideas bouncing around in his head, he just needed the permission to go through with it.

Freya thought it over as she peeled a kitkat off the side of the remaining cake and tapped her bottom lip with it a few times, "N'all right. I think I can agree to that. Simple birthdays and fancy holidays as long as you promise to keep my birthday as simple as can be. Just something like this where it's just us two and a nice dinner at home?" She looked at the new watch she gave him with adoring eyes, loving the way it looked with his colorful tattoos up his arms, "Do you really want another watch though? I could get you a chain or earrings if you still wants gems and jewelry."

"You've got a deal beautiful, I'll make sure your birthday is as simple as mine. But you make a fair point 'bout the watch thing, maybe mix it up some. I could go for some new threads, I'm still usin' a lot of the stuff I brought in from The Zones." Parker nodded slowly in thought, "Yeah, yeah.. And, oh, y'know I love bubble bath." He pointed a tattooed finger at her, chuckling, "You could really spoil me with some new music equipment though. I kinda forget I don't actually got anything.."

She made sure to take mental note of everything he mentioned and automatically knew he was going to love what she had planned already. "I think I can get in a letter to Santa and see to it that you get most of what you want this year love." Freya thought it all over, doing simple budgeting in her head until she had to ask, "Parker.. Are you going to be alright getting along with Aldous for Christmas? I know he's an ass, but the holidays are something special to us. I promise he won't be any trouble, I just want to invite him for dinner with us."

"If he's not going to be any trouble then I don't mind having him over, I'm willin' to give it a shot. I'd like to get along with your family.." His smile softened and he fiddled with an m&m on his plate, "I know what it's like havin' troubling family, my brother is just bad news. I won't pretend I won't be missin' Reese on Christmas, but if I've got you then everything can be okay. Maybe this time around I won't mind Aldous too much. 'Tis the season right?"

Since she was done eating her slice of cake for now, Freya took her legs back so she could sit sideways in Parker's lap and look into his eyes. "Hey, I promise Aldous will be on his best behavior and gone before we know it. He said he's got some friends he wanted to see since he would be just getting back in town on that day." Being sweet and innocent minded like she was, she quickly asked, "Is there anyway you could find Reese just to say Happy Christmas? I don't want you going the whole day wishing you have if you cold have. I could pop off downstairs for a bit if you wanted the privacy."

Parker wrapped his arms around his girlfriend, sighing quietly. "You know at this point I think I would but.. I haven't seen him since I got locked up. I should just let him have his wish, I mean he didn't want to see me again anyways. He kinda disowned me when he found out I was gettin' dragged off and I'm pretty sure he still means it. I refuse to let that ruin us though, I'll remember him even if doesn't wanna remember me."

Freya was so puzzled and hurt for Parker that all she could think to do was embrace him and gently kiss his neck once. "If that's what you wish, I won't force it. I know what it's like.." She was brought back to all the tough times she faced with Aldous and his addiction in England, but she just shook her blonde wavy hair and kept it to herself. Maybe after the holiday she would tell him about all her family hang ups, but his birthday was suppose to be simple and sweet. "I did get you one more present, but it's so silly. I bought it as a joke thinking you would not only find the humor, but also the activity fun."

While she had embraced him, he was brought back to the time when he last saw Reese. Memories that were five years old felt as fresh as just a few days ago. Parker was comforted by Freya, giving her a quick kiss on the head to show his gratefulness. "What is it beautiful?" His smile came back, letting the memories of his brother fade away the second he looked into her pools of blue.

She pressed her lips over the 'R' for Reese tattooed on his temple and gave him a cheeky grin, "Sorry I have to leave your lap empty again, Love. I'll be right back." Freya straightened out Parker's baggy shirt that she was wear and even buttoned two more of the buttons by the black lace bra to cover it more. Gathering the loose bottom of the shirt in her hands, she tied it into a crop top just above her belly button. "I had a thought after you showed me some of your older pictures that one night that I would let you doodle on my bare canvas." She took a colorful box from inside the piano bench and brought it back over with her hands on her hips. "Henna, for tattoos in all kinds of colors. If you paint my stomach and lower back I won't have to worry about covering it when I go downstairs."

Parker grinned, getting up when he saw what she was holding. "Well I'll be damned, didn't know this shit was still 'round. I'd love to do some of my own deigns. You can draw on me too beautiful, you know I still have my entire back open for it." He leaned down, giving her a kiss on her forehead, "Either way, this is fuckin' perfect for us." His smile was now stuck on his face, both from the Henna and the memories of that all-nighter he had with Freya not too long ago.

"Yes! It's why I'm so excited!" She set the box down on the table beside the cake and pushed up on her toes to give him a sweet little kiss, "I can't want to add to all your amazing art that you already have and the best part is that it will wash off in two weeks if I mess up!" Freya quickly opened up the henna box and pulled out the tube of red ink and the little paintbrush that came in the kit. "Will you put one on me now? I already have an idea of what I want my first one to be.."

"Of course I will beautiful, should I come up with my own idea? Might take me a minute, I'm not always that creative." He looked over the colors again knowing that whatever they created was going to be amazing. "You know exactly what to do, I couldn't imagine a better birthday." Parker felt his heart skip a beat and he looked at her with seriousness, "Freya," he paused, taking her face in his hands, "You know I love you, right?"

Freya hadn't suspected a thing, but with his tattooed fingers holding her now blushing cheeks- her knees were dangerously weak. "Oh.." The paintbrush and tub of henna ink tumbled out of her hands and fell the the floor. Suddenly, staring into Parker's eyes was the only thing she could get her brain to do. "Is this what real love is suppose to feel like?" A sudden wave of embarrassment washed over her as she realized she didn't immediately return the words. "If what you show me is love, than I would be stupid not to see it. You've always been an absolute sweetheart to me despite what you've been falsely blamed for and survived.. If you say that you love me.. I would be blind not to see all the evidence."

"I love you with everything I'm made up of.. You make the pain and anger go away, I just need you." Parker pulled her close, noticing how weak she had gotten, "Sorry I made you drop that beautiful.. I didn't want to hide that anymore.. I've been feeling it all along." He brushed back some of her golden curls, smiling gently, "I don't think I ever want to be without you."

"You don't ever have to be, Love. I want to keep you close and love you as well. It's why I never let you leave after the night we met at the party." Since he still had her face in his hands, she rested her own against his heart and rubbed the top of the tattooed owl on his chest with her fingers. "You don't ever have to be alone. I love you and want you to be here with me. I don't know what I would have done without you saving me that night and bringing me back home- to our home."
