(Blank)On the surface, drawing a bunch of characters experiencing the same emotion in their own unique ways might seem difficult, but once you ask yourself some questions about each expression, those mental choices will flow smoothly into the drawings.
F'rinstance, how is the head tilted? What's the posture like? What are the eyes doing? The mouth? The hands? The shoulders? How intensely does the character usually feel that emotion? (For example, Fallon and Sinistrous are trained not to be high-strung, so their "surprised" expressions are less emotional than the others'. By contrast, Kuiper gets really surprised, and Vec is rarely startled, but when he is, it's intense.)
Most importantly, where's the character's power center? Being aware of this will keep their mannerisms consistent, and set them apart from the other characters.
I may or may not make a full-body version of this, just so each character has room to make their expressions stand out even more. Depends on the demand. Thoughts? Yes/no?

i just wanted to pop by and say that i genuinely enjoy the expressions in your art, your lines are also nice and crisp, some really good stuff in here! also a huge fan of all dogs go to heaven, was a giant part of my childhood, we're actually the same age, hahahaha. we probably have a lot in common aside from the stuff on dirk's page, to be completely honest. i would actually enjoy talking to you outside of deviantart if you don't end up hating my guts. /shrug
