Here is a new and improved one, after thinking about the personalities of some of my characters a bit more, and adding different ones. Originally had typed Rilo as ESTP and Randall as ENTJ, and maybe that is how they were when I first thought of them almost 7 years ago, but that wasn’t really how I ended up writing either of them. Rilo is hard to type too, because he obviously has a few personality disorders and he behaves in an abnormal way, so I really had to think of what cognitive functions he uses the most -w-
I also added Toro, Captain Pim, Esibarian Itzen, Zaketta Tali’an, and Jonathan to this one. If you’re unfamiliar with any of the characters, that’s okay - the descriptions below explain a bit of who they are and HOW they are. You can also ask any questions about the characters you want :3 Also, if you share a type with one of the villains....no I don’t think all people of that type are like that...they are OBVIOUSLY an unhealthy example and all types have their pros and cons

SIMULACRUM MBTI TYPES

ENTJ - Rilo Bari’at
An unhealthy example. Rilo is controlling and manipulative, and uses his intuitive side to scheme and feed his delusions of grandeur. The only reason he’s extroverted is because it allows him to indulge his incessant need to belittle and humiliate others. He cares little for the feelings of those around him unless he can somehow use them to his advantage, and his stunted, introverted emotions feed his feelings of superiority and selfishness. While he is organized and creative, his narcissistic personality holds back any real benefits of these traits.

ESTJ - Zeth Sahar’i
Zeth is traditional and cares very much for the customs of his society, which he sees as very logical (even if they really aren’t). He believes that everyone would be better off if they just followed the rules. He has little sympathy for those who don’t follow them, and has a hard time feeling sorry for people he disagrees with. He can be stodgy at times, but still enjoys the company of others - and he likes to engage in various outdoor activities.

ESTJ - Chet Astor
Chet is organized, punctual, hardworking, and a man of his word. He is practical and enjoys supervising others. He is well-liked by his peers, who respect his work-ethic and honesty. However, his relationship with his brother is where his perfectionism turns into deep jealousy. Chet strives to always be the most perfect version of himself, which is often unrealistic when he compares himself to others.

ESTP - Zaketta Tali’an
Zaketta likes to have a good time, and doesn’t care what other people think about it. She emigrated from Voush’noun because her restrictive Second Caste family stifled her expression and wanted her to be a “lady”, something she insists she isn’t. Zaketta is honest and will tell you what she thinks whether you like it or not. She doesn’t do this to be mean, though. She truly cares about the people around her, and would rather tell the truth than let something go. She enjoys having a good time with her friends.

ENFJ - Mayor Dennis Randall
An unhealthy example. Randall uses his seemingly warm personality to make those around him trust him and like him, but don’t let his welcoming nature fool you. Behind the scenes he is always machinating and thinking of the best way to remain in power. He takes the old adage of the “needs of the many” to heart too much, as he is all too willing to do whatever it takes to ensure his “utopia” is unblemished. He truly believes that what he is doing is right, and is unable to see how twisted his ideologies truly are.

ENFJ - Cordelia Maddox
Cordelia is competent, warm, and welcoming. She became a lawyer because she believes in justice and likes to help people. She is ambitious, but humble at the same time. She sees the good in people (even when there might not be any), and always tries to stand up for what is right. When she comes up with a plan of action, she sticks with it, no matter what.

ENTP - Sgt. Rodney Kirkwood
An unhealthy example. Kirkwood thinks he’s an intelligent servant to the city-state, but he’s really just a psychopathic megalomaniac. He enjoys torturing the city-states’ enemies and takes pleasure out of toying with them. He is pompous, and actually believes that others find him witty and humorous. They don’t.

ENTP - Silas Zed
Silas is adaptable and friendly. While he values logic and enjoys learning, he also has a sense of humor and welcomes the company of others. He likes to discuss his interests with those around him, and likes to learn about other people. He has a curiosity that will never cease.

ESFJ - Wilbur McCallum
Wil cares about the people around him, and enjoys the structure of his job as a police officer. He’s not the most organized example of an ESFJ, but when it comes to his job, he takes it seriously. He believes in the justice system and the traditional way of doing things, and when he’s forced to question that, he becomes deeply uncomfortable. Wil enjoys hanging out with friends, supporting them, and having a good time.

ESFP - Ara Sahar’i
Ara enjoys being the life of the party, even if there’s no party to be had. This makes her seem shallow and vapid to those who don’t know her, but inside she has values that she holds dear to her. She enjoys getting to know people and likes to see the good in others. Though she can be chaotic at times, she is fiercely loyal to those she cares about. In school, she wasn’t the best student of more abstract subjects. Even though Ara would much rather be dancing than discussing quantum physics, she still enjoys reading fast paced books and hands on learning of subjects she enjoys.

ENFP - Pehz
Pehz is a free spirit. He enjoys music, dancing, and spending quality time with friends. He loves to express himself, and really doesn’t care what other people think of him. The only opinions that matter to him are those of his closest friends. Pehz’s values are most important to him, and he truly believes in making life better for everyone. Pehz is accepting and warm towards people who would otherwise be considered weirdos and likes to make everyone around him feel accepted and worthy. His favorite pastime is learning about unique plants and animals.

INTJ - Kizzy Lin
On the outside, Kizzy seems cold and unapproachable, but if you peel back the layers, she’s a complicated, deep person. Kizzy believes action is the way to get things done and make changes in a world she sees as corrupt. Those who follow her respect her leadership skills, even if she leads with calculated logic and not warm, fuzzy speeches.
Kizzy emotions are something she keeps mostly inside. They guide her worldview and unwavering values, along with her deep intuition. If Kizzy wasn’t commanding her people in their revolution against the Corporation, she’d be involved in more intellectual pursuits, such as studying plants or the weather.

ISTJ - Captain Toro Ansati
Toro may be reserved, but that doesn’t mean he’s not a good leader. As a Captain in Voush’noun’s Army, he takes things like honor and trustworthiness very seriously. He has high standards, and expects everyone who works with him to follow them. Nothing irritates Toro more than a hypocrite, and if he believes that someone isn’t behaving as they should, he’s not afraid to call them out on it.

ISTJ - Sirius Steel
Sirius is, well, serious. To him, accurate observation of the facts is something that comes naturally. However, not everything is 100% cold logic with him. Sirius’s values are almost as important to him as his dedication to the law, and this causes extreme conflict in him when the two contradict one another. But in the end, Sirius believes in justice over all other things, even the law - because sometimes justice and the law are not the same thing.

ISTP - Esibarian Itzen
Itzen may be a bit reticent for your average space pirate, but that doesn’t make him any less swashbuckling. He lives in the moment and enjoys a good adventure. He may steal artifacts and other people’s ships for the money, but he also does it just for the thrill of it. He’s charismatic in a laid back way, but he doesn’t take crap from anyone either.

INFJ - Solera Hood
Solera is quiet and reflective, but if you anger her in any way, you will feel the brute force of her wrath. She is organized and poised. However, she cares little for trivial things like traditions and doing things the same way over and over and over again. She cares a lot for those close to her, and wishes to see them become the best version of themself. She despises emotional manipulation and people who take advantage of the weak and defenseless.

INFJ - Jonathan Tse
Jonathan was idealistic and starry eyed once, but now he is jaded. He can see the potential of people, but he can also see the depravity of the world - and that consumes him. He wants to make the world a better place, and has many ideas about how to do it. However, he hates humanity just as much as he wants to save it. He prefers to change things anonymously, behind his computer screen.

INTP - Pim
Pim is an unconventional leader who thinks outside the box and uses logic to her advantage. She became a starship captain, not for the glory of lording over others, but for the glory of exploration and expansion of knowledge. While she’s not the most organized, her novel ideas and quick thinking are essential to her job - because nothing requires new ways of thinking more than navigating the vast expanse of space.

ISFJ - Leeka Okami
Although she is shy and reserved, no one cares for others quite like Leeka - and somehow, after all she’s been through, she still has the capacity to forgive and believe the best of people. Dark thoughts do consume her sometimes, and when they do, Leeka tries to channel that energy towards helping others. Leeka wishes to dedicate her life to those that are helpless, like she once was. There is such a thing as being TOO selfless, however, and that’s something Leeka is trying to learn.

ISFP - Cara Nyby
On the outside Cara seems stoic and practical, but she is an individual at heart. She enjoys the thrills of being a police officer, but her job also connects deeply to her personal beliefs. Cara is creative and adaptable, but she can also be stubborn and judgmental of others.

INFP - Dr. Osiris Hood
Dr. Hood is a true idealist. He is reserved and wise, but has strong beliefs - namely his belief in the greater good. When someone challenges his opinions, however, he can become rather obstinate. He truly wants to see things improve for everyone, and when people are oppressed and abused it can make him irrationally angry. Wisdom is important to him, but sometimes his intense emotions are at odds with logic and reasoning. When he’s not advocating for others, he is pursuing his passionate interests: history and archaeology.
