I just stared at these images for probably four minutes or so. The longer I looked, the more fluid the movements became. My mind began filling in the missing frames. Often, my dreams are such that I am in control. The inner walls of my psyche are my kingdom, and I preside with a firm grip. They are my cinema. I am director, producer, cast, and audience.
Therefore it only makes sense that my nightmares consist of paralysis and terror, forced to view a snarling parade of freakish, ghoulish, monstrous shapes tearing across my vision. Bulging eyes. Rotting flesh. Lips drawn back over filthy teeth. Faces of malice. I am helpless.
You have bared my nightmares to my waking eyes. I feel... naked.
