Description

Inktober Day 17: The Old Planet

It’s been two weeks now since the crash and it’s clear that the planet is dead. Whatever inhabitants might once have flourished here are long gone, leaving behind only inscrutable obelisks, slowly worn down eon by eon.

That's definitely Horus.

Old gods drift in and out of time and space. Who's to say?

I instantly thought of Horus as he appeared in Enki Bilal's comics: s3.amazonaws.com/s3.roostertee…

Oh this is sick! I need to read some of Bilal's actual comics, I've only seen a couple works by him here and there but I definitely like his art a lot

The famous Nikopol trilogy (where our friend Horus appears) can be read online: readcomiconline.to/Comic/The-N…

No problem. European science fiction comics from the 1980s are underappreciated... it's always awesome to find someone who likes them.

I doubt I have anything you aren't already familiar with. Bilal and Moebius were always my favorites.

If you're into fantasy (with some technological and science fictional elements), there is Requiem: Vampire Knight, which is worth reading for the absolutely stunning artwork alone: www.comicextra.com/requiem-vam…

EDIT: I mean, just look at this page: www.comicextra.com/requiem-vam…
