Took a long while but I finally came around to design Merianna!
She is a very poor soul, being a broodmare for almost 800 years now, with seeing barely any sunlight and with constantly being pregnant. She only survives this torture because as a goddess she has another feeling of time and furthermore she herself has a very strong will. She has not broken into submission, even after centuries over centuries of torture. She might be my most strong-willed character ever! And yes, she is quite small in body size. But her character makes up for her frail look.
And I think that she really deserves the title of a light goddess. I mean, just look at her! Even without magic she practically GLOWS with her natural beauty! 
And she is not skinny because she has anorexia or something or because she is not well-fed, but because the constant pregnancies pay their toll on her. Wouldn't she be immportal then she would have died from this long ago already.
And yes, the chains have been on her legs for almost 800 years now, which explains why the skin in this area looks so wretched and bloody.
Also, all gods of the first generation are 3997 years old (due to being created at the same time). I saw many differing dates in the References of people with first generation god characters from the RPG. Please correct the age if it is not the same as this one here.

Gosh, no matter how many times I look, Merianna will always make me smile, but at the same time I will feel my heart break. What a poor sweetheart!
I have a question: What is life typically like for her? If she interacts with her children or... husband? What's THAT like?Β

1. How well do they take care of her, such as food and grooming.
2. How do they keep track of her when she is out of the dungeon?
3. Is her dungeon more of a dark room than anΒ actualΒ dungeon? If so what illuminates the place?
4. What does she eat?
5. Because her skin on her back legs is described, wretched and bloody, does it get infected once or twice in time?
6. How does time pass for a first generation god?
7. Which area did she rule before the war?
8. Does the torture events affect the yet Heranor offspring?
9. Is she known from the outside world, minus from the regernades?
10. Does Adrik hurt her if she attempts to do anything? Or would he hurt their children?

Ok, since some of these questions are similar, I'm just gonna answer something general about her.
Merianna is while being looked down upon, still a valuable and irreplaceable asset of the family. No harm is done to her, neither from Adrik nor from her children. Her wellbeing is the top priority so she is regularly groomed and gets food (mostly fresh meat) several times a day. While the place she stays at is described as a dungeon, it is more like an underground home which provides everything she needs (minus sunlight). It is illuminated through crystals and torches. The time that passes for her down there passes as fast as it does for every other living being. Just because she is several thousand years old doesn't change the flow of time. However, she sees time spans of a year as not more than what we would see a week. She is aware of how much time passes, but it doesn't feel like it to her. Also, she is not tortured physically in the slightest but rather treated as a prisoner queen. The only thing related to torture would be the iron shackles. Iron hurts fae on a deep level, but she learned to cope with the pain. The shackles repress her magic, but at the same time burn her skin. Other fae would be gravely affected by it, but she is powerful enough to not be influenced further than it being bloody skin (aka. it doesn't get infected). She is, however, tortured mentally with this predicament. Being caged with hundrets of years with a vicious circle of pregnancy does something to your mind, but she hasn't broken under it yet.
As for if others know about her, that depends. Most do not even know about the Heranors themselves, let alone Merianna. Her existence is not kept a secret though. The court queens know about it, but it is not their business, so they don't interfere.
When it comes to Adrik, he is pretty much unpredictable. If he would hurt Merinna or his children would depend on the situation, but it's usually uncommon for him to do so.
I cannot say anything more specific than this because almost everything involving Adrik and Merianna is part of a whole other story which is kept secret until the time in the comic comes to reveal it.

though she only sees them when she is allowed to go outside of the dungeon and they despise her, so that knowledge does not bring her much

a broodmare is a mare whose only purpose is to produce foals. As such she is kept where she is against her will.
