I just saw a person on DA upload this same artwork without crediting you or mentioning you or anything, I don't want to jump to conclusions but it seems fishy, better check it out.

I really don't want to instantly blame anyone, maybe they were the ones who bought the character, I really don't know, but their username is FNAFOC-DONT-STEAL.
OOPS OKay, just checked, they definitely did not buy the character since AmethystSpine obviously did.Β
I really don't like people who steal art, they make me really angry. I don't know if they were trying to steal it, but they uploaded the same image and left no credit whatsoever.

Yes, exactly so. Adoptable terms are different for each artist, some more strict than others. You get full rights to do what you wish with the character, claim it as your own, and edit the design (some artists don't let you do that, though). I think all that you really can't do it claim that you made it, and things like that.
