oh man, this animation is very pretty, not to mention that i adore your style!
but may i ask which program you used? as i got it, you're working with sai most of the time like i do, and you use photoshop for effects. these lines are pretty scribbly, but all programs with animation feature i came across so far were either clunky (photoshop) or the lines corrected themselves to be smooth (flash) but i want scribbly lines x)

Remember that the lips usually move a little bit too when a animal is sniffing. Studying videos (or animals) IRL can help you to see how much it they would move and such.
