Description
Contrary to the category, these are pictures of a sculpture I made of Wheatley from Portal 2 with colored Sculpey. I can't stand painting. He was too amazing to neglect. I now wear him around my neck daily.I keep on testing. He watches.
I'm contemplating on making him a friend. Either PotaDos or Space Core. *ponders*

Actually, yeah. I made Space Core last week and I plan to sell him, but I'm trying to get things together so I can set up a small shop on etsy. I'll probably submit a journal entry with links soon, because I really need to get the ball rolling.~

I'm thinking of making things to sell, but the trouble is...well, I don't think I can legally make money off characters from games, shows, etc. Copyright laws and all that. If I made anything to sell, I'd have to be original characters and such.

if you check out Etsy, lots of people handmake characters from shows/games/etc to sell. Also, I doubt you could launch an enterprise to rival Valve's sales. In fact, emulating their characters is very much advertising for them - the more people flaunt their Glados or Wheatley necklaces/keychains/cellcharms, the more publicity Valve gets.
But suit yourself, of course. Your decision.
I would definitely be interested if you changed your mind, because this is one of the only proportionate and precise models I've seen

S'cool. Maybe I'll make some then. It took me like five hours to make Wheatley, but now that I have it down it shouldn't take as long to make any of the other cores.

I think I saw this issue once before and it was determined that your stuff only gets you into trouble if you claim ownership of the design or are using actual footage from the game in your product.
On a secondary note, I also want one so definitely keep us posted.
