Beside the peaceful waterfalls deep in the Misty Mountains Cali can relax for a time, but trouble follows closely behind as it has all her life. Power is jealously coveted in a land of turmoil and as the last survivor of that fated bloodline can Calisindra ever find peace?

So I actually did a background and didn't give up and scrap it for once! Helped that I added it into the original sketch but that doesn't always matter... Anyway...this is my original character Calisindra from a story that I may or may not put on paper at some point.

Cali is born noble, but is more a tomboy at heart. Still fun to draw pretty dresses sometimes though ^^

The water and the mountains/town aren't quite as good as I would like them, and I had major issues with Cali's right arm, but overall I'm very proud of this. Most of the drawing actually came fairly easy to me which surprised me. I usually avoid fabric with folds and things like grass, so I'm very happy with the way they turned out.

Constructive critiques are welcome, but if it's about the lighting on Cali's skin uhhh I say it's also reflecting off the water so >= p No need to comment on it.

I will post a sequence showing my work in progress and/or a detail shot if anyone asks me to.

Drawing was done entirely in photoshop.
