I've had a lot of headaches this weekend. Just wanted to do a quick, pretty sketch to unwind.Also, I found this cool hairstyles book on clearance at borders that has like...180 hairstyles. It makes a great reference book for hair. Lots of variety and nice photos. The pose was referenced from posemaniacs.com. If you're studying anatomy, this is an excellent site to help. My friend Kevin [link] from the local Dr. Sketchy's group gave me the link.

I've never used it to reference a more finished sketch before this. I usually just do their 90 second figure drawing thing for random anatomy practice.

Do you draw real people? I mean, not to post on DA, but just to learn and practice? I try to do a lot of that stuff, but the Dr. Sketchy's are the only ones I usually post.

Maybe you could find a place at your Dad's store for it. I do that at the book store. Just sketch people browsing books or sitting and reading. You usually only have 30 sec or less, but it's still good practice.

XDD My goal is always just 10-15 min a day...which is only like 7-10 sketches a day. It doesn't have to be a long time to help.

Man, I think that would drive me crazy. My Mom lost the house we grew up in and went bankrupt when I was 17. Mind you, the house was not in great shape, but it was big and in the city and she COULD have sold it for something. I feel a little better that I was working and helping out with part of the rent, but ya...still completely sucked. I really hope things pick up.

There probably isn't much. I take it that you're still looking for a job. So, you have no cash to help out with. Your Dad doesn't need help in the store if there are no customer's there. That just bites all around.
