-- edit, sorry forgot to mention, reference for the bird was loosishly taken from cover of a New Zealand Geographic magazine (if only I had real live kiwi running round my backyard
). Everything else made up.

I just found out about 2 minutes ago that Kiwi's are real. XD I just remember seeing the animation on youtube called "Kiwi" and thinking it was an awkward bird someone had made up.

When I build my new computer (yayay I love making comps) and finally salvage all the art stuff off my old crashed out HD I will try and remedy that. Heh. Anyway thankyou so much for the comment, its kinda the first helpful one I've ever had at

Oh my god. MUST FAV!
One of the most beautiful drawings I've seen this month (and I see a lot of outstanding work each month). You actually drew a Kiwi. Hardly see that bird on DA. But you also made it white and all the blues and purples and reds are fabulous! Wow! And I'm simply drawn into the kiwi's eye. There's something wonderfully magic about it, not to mention that it's super realistic.
