Finally. xD Main character of Caught Off Guard and the closest thing to my fursona, and it takes THIS long to get her a character sheet. xD Pretty simple - lined the sketch traditionally, scanned it in, found out my scanner is less than amazing, but colored it in anyway. I edited her darker brown just a tad from normal, because I didn't think it stood out enough against her main color.

Markita Travelpace is three years old when the comic starts, but consistantly acts much younger. She is the Traveler for Aurora Borealis, and worked beside her father in the career until he died. Now she waits for someone to be her new partner with eagerness. She was almost demoted when she disappeared from her pack for five moons, but she managed to give enough people a killed-puppy-look to keep her rank. Travel enjoys traveling beyond anything else, and its usually obvious, if not by her name than by the way her eyes grow huge and hopeful whenever anyone mentions anything about going anywhere. On trips, she usually takes the lead, being the one that knows where everything is and how to get everywhere (a requirement of her rank). She does have her smart moments, people just never notice them. Would defend her remaining family with her life if she had to, especially since she rarely sees them (both her brothers are part of the Rebel pack, and her sister, Teina Dragontail, has been missing for the past two years.). When her sister returns from a long absense, Travel does what she can to make sure she's protected, which leads her to go to the Rebels for help, even knowing the long, bitter grudge Flameclaw, their leader, has against her beloved sister. But she loves her best and oldest friend with all her heart... what will the decision come down to?
