Description
Here's Anzu's first Pokémon, her Eevee Chii. So named because Chii always stayed smaller than a regular Eevee, no matter how much time passed, or how high her level got. Chii's got a Modest nature, and she always sticks close to Anzu, doing her best to help her owner with tending to Berries and other such tasks.Chii eventually evolves into an Espeon, but until then she wears a Silk Scarf around her tail as her held item.

Thanks. Pokémon are surprisingly hard to draw, so I've been trying to work on my own style with them. :> Eevee and its evolutions are so darn cute asdf xD

I've always been kind of tempted to make a Pokémon OC that uses nothing but Eeveelutions xD But that might be overdoing it, hahah.

Awh, there are sooo many different Pokémon to use in an OC's team and all the different regions for backstories, you should make your own! :> Oh, do you roleplay? I kind of came up with some of my characters' designs for roleplay purposes. //loves RP

Eh, if you've played the games even some, it's not so hard to get in on everything. <3 Probably not the best idea to throw in a full team of legendaries though if you want to be taken seriously. xD But I guess that goes without saying. The way I design(and roleplay) my characters is usually like.. a sort of cross-over between the games and the Pokémon Adventures manga. I don't consider the anime to be a very good source to work with. Roleplaying isn't hard once you get started. It's always the very beginning that's the most awkward~ :>

I've mostly RP'd on forums and different IM programs and MMOs over the years. I know there are RP groups here on dA as well, but I've not joined any so far.
Most of my roleplaying I've done on a forum named Gaia Online.
And yes, pretty much. :> I like how RP is kinda like writing an interactive story - your partners adding their own bits and pieces to it as you go along.
Eh, the anime has always presented the world and its function in a very different manner than the games and manga - that's why I don't consider it as good a source. Bulbapedia is an amazing place to look up additional information on places, items and such, if you want to be like me and think of everything. xD

thats true :'D But to be honest, it had to adapt it that way. The games were very simplistic compared to what they could do in the anime back then

True, but the games also evolved very quickly. I really love the newer remakes of the first two generations. * u* Heartgold and Soulsilverrrrr~
IVs are like the only things I overlook, still, but I'm obsessed with natures, characteristics and EV training. Like, for example Chii here, Anzu's Eevee, has a Modest nature because that's best for a Psychic type, and usually what I aim for with an Espeon.. if I remember correctly, I picked a Naughty nature for Ten.

But sometimes, caring about the mechanics can get really annoying, cos I can't 'enjoy' the games like I used to.. I'm so pedantic with my EV's, sometimes even saving before I battle a trainer :3 I care less for natures tho (as long as it doesn't subtract on an important stat)

I lost my Pokéwalker when I moved to my current apartment ; 3; I was so sadddd
and now my brother wanted to buy my DS and all of the games I had for it, my Platinum and Soulsilver included. I had so many event pokémon and shinies from friends tho that I told him to keep the saves or at least transfer everything of value over to another cartridge. ; v;
Hehe, a friend of mine is like.. she likes pokémon but she keeps claiming how it's too complicated nowadays with IVs and EVs and everything, whereas I absolutely love all the things you need to take into consideration! But yeah, the most effort I put into checking IVs is that I try to get a matching characteristic for my pokémon's nature..
Oh dear god I remember the pain I went through to get even a neutral natured female Eevee, since their gender ratio is so ridiculous. I would've wanted Modest most of all but I think I ended up with Bashful. But at least her characteristic was Mischievous, so that means her highest IV was her Sp.Atk even though I couldn't be sure of the exact value xD
And sometimes I don't mind 'wrong' EVs so much, since you can grow those berries that lower them. P:

I don't really get why eevees are majorly male, it's kinda stupid. Though perhaps the thinking behind that was that eevee is a rare pkmn, so there aren't many females

He promised I'd still get to play, he's just a huge Nintendo fanboy and has to own every single console. xD Also we have a pretty similar taste in games. Probably because I grew up with him, his interests rubbed off on me.

I think the gender ratio of Eevees and the starters is to make breeding them harder, since Dittos are relatively hard to obtain.
And psh, once I get even one of each berry I start growing them like crazy. xD I always liked making Pokéblocks and Poffins, anyhow~ Berry tending is fun.

Well, shinies are still extremely rare, the Masuda method just increases your chances somewhat above the wild encounter rate. I suppose it'd work best with a pokémon with a really small egg cycle and having a Magmar in your party. o 3o
Mhm, it's way easier that way. And usually a pokémon paired with a Ditto produces eggs at a slower rate than one from the same egg group.
I haven't even tried the newest contests.. because they sound so lame orz
