For the folks over at PLANET-PULP . This month's theme was the Rankin Bass Christmas Special...and the Bumble used to horrify me as a small child. A part of me believes that much of my monster love comes from old children's programming. Oh 1980s, you done fucked us up good : DC. Larsen 2011

I used to get freaked out too when I was little. The part where Rudolph and his dad hide behind the snowbank when they hear the Bumble, that made me so nervous.
the Winter Warlock was the same way for me too, but then he turns into a bumbling, good-natured goof for the rest of the movie

Abominable Snow Monster of the North is a little darker than I remember. I almost expect blood and gore to happen in the next image (should you have continued this theme)......gotta go lie down now and try not to get nightmares.
In all seriousness, this is a great image. I'd imagine everyone viewed the world like this in the show if they ever encounter the Bumble.
