Hm... I like the thicker lines, actually. (But you've probably seen my bulky lineart by now. XD ) If you ever find yourself in a situation like this where all of the lineart as a whole looks too thick, you could try getting a selection of just the lines, contracting that selection by a pixel or two, and then inverting that selection and deleting it. Or, if it's just a few details that stand out too much, you can always use the pen tool to trim off the excess more precisely than erasing by freehand.

Moving onto the drawing itself, I really like the colors and expression; she looks bright, but it's still pretty clear that it's still the Rukia we know from Bleach; she's certainly happy enough in this scene, and enjoying herself, but nothing too hyper or sugary that would be out of character for her.
