Light Yagami and L from Death Note--
Death Note is addicting. Tada, this was the best of a set of sketches I had done for the series so I decided to color it. Light turned out very nicely, and I think L could use some work.
Ryuk would have been in this picture if he allowed me to draw a decent image of him. He's so cool, but so hard to draw, it's unfair. So, just to make sure no one forgets the cool God of Death, I present him invisible eating an apple.
Though, Rem is by far my favorite of the DN cast, so you might see her popping up.

LOL.....excellent idea. Poor L has no clue what a shinigami looks like. And that is the perfect description for it. have you seen the trailers for the deathnote movies? omg....I wish I was back in Japan so I could snag the movies like I did with Kung Fu Hustle...but...*sniffle*...alas...I must wait for the japanese store in Seattle to get it. *sob*.....
The manga is the best. ^_^ Story and art put together makes an EXCELLENT read. And inspires good artists like you to draw fanart. Yay!!!!!!

Haven't seen the movies yet but caught a glimpse of the anime on YouTube. AWESOME stuff. Animation is superb despite they have a ton of dialogue. The anime was Raw too...so I just got the gist of it from reading the manga. The anime....I had now clue what was going on except thru the manga. LOL..........
Love L...wish he didn't go away in volume 8 or 9 or whatever.

Ha ha, Iv'e been watching the anime via fansubs. Yay Toriyama World (and the other 5 groups subbing that thing....) but yeah, Misa and Rem show up in episode 11 for the first time. *glitter* Ah I love them.

I feel really sorry for Misa. When I was underway, I got played just like she did. We're both so naive for believing a guy like that could love us. ^_^;;; So I have a space in my heart for wee Misa. Rem? .......eh. She sacrificed her life for Misa and I'll honor that...though Kira KNEW she would, so that sucked. lol....
