Foot Fossil: One of the two Fossils is given to the trainer on “The Isle of Life” and can be restored at the Snow Dome in Okami City. The resulting Pokémon are level 20. The Tooth Fossil is mostly surrounded by dirt mostly because they usually lived underground and rthat's where their life ended. It was determined that Growoth’s original type used to be Normal/Ground before its restoration.
Weather Pokédex Entry: Growoth became extinct approximately a 11,000 ago. This extinct Pokémon uses its claws for protection and for making shelter. They survived during the Ice Ages that happened in the past, but were hunted to extinction shortly after.
Temperature Pokédex Entry: They aren't really as ancient as other fossil Pokemon. The reason is because these fossils were smaller and simple to find. Their claws are razor sharp, which were perfect for making little burrows to hide and sleep.
