Its so nice to see fursuits in an untainted light. So much negativity surrounds them both inside and outside the fandom. People just assume its dirty when for most people it is exactly as it is with Tyco!
I love seeing normal productive people getting into it too. Fight the stereotypes.

That same reason is why I want a fursuit so bad. And it's why I loved being the mascot when I was in middle school. I would have people come up to at McDonald's all the time before games and tell me how awesome of a mascot I was because I got so involved with the crowd and everyone, not just the players.
One day. One day I will have my fursona in real life.

I always get the same question; "why build costumes and not fashion?" I always say 'because there is nothing likes seeing you favorite character walking down the street as real as you or me" the feeling is unreal and to know that you are the one who brought that character form fantasy to reality is a feeling like no other.

I've got a cooling vest coming on Thursday, and if we're not going camping as a family over the weekend, I think we'll be at the park again on Friday. Everyone here has been amazed at how life-like Tycho is, and the most comment comments I get is about the mystery of "how do you get the mouth to talk like that??" I just smile, (and yes, Tycho can smile) and say "That's part of the magic!" Actually, I didn't quite know exactly what they meant until I saw the video myself. Your design flat-out just plain works, and I'm honest when I say that people have compared Tycho Aussie to "better than Disney".
I've still got a lot of learning to do, and there are a couple of dances I need to learn, namely the electric slide. I also need to review my tango, waltz, cha-cha, and foxtrot.

I really love this video since that is something I've always wanted to do in life and is on my bucket list to one day own a costume but it's hard financially so fingers crossed haha. Also no one really makes or is interested in that kind of stuff here in Australia sadly.

I always hate it when the show is over and I have to go home. It's a great feeling, I know how Tycho Aussie feels.
I've all ready been invited by one local chamber of commerce to show up at their fall festival in October. I'm allready on the agenda to be a part of their Christmas festival.
My goal is to make everyone smile, have a good time myself, and show the good side of being a furry.

i wish people would pay more attention to this side of the fursuiting community, NOT the negative images shown by the media. fursuiters just want to have fun and let other people have fun, I wish that others would see it the way we do.

It's scary the first time, but once you get into character, there's no problem. Then you can't wait to do it again. Just make sure you have a handler or escort.
There's a great video telling you the dos and dont's on u-tube. Look up "macot 101" it's from one of the recent cons in Texas.
