Seems that I don't hate my art as much when I don't expect too much at the beginning. This piece might not look as "lush" as my other watercolor paintings, and I had not tried to kill myself to achieve certain lighting effect or color combination, but I quite like it. It reminds me of how I started doing fanart - just for the love of the character, nothing else.Related content

Hi, It's great to see your work up here. I've got a gallery here to, in anticipation of loosing my LJ one. I thought I should tell you why I favourited this piece. It is a great example of just what I love about your work. I love the effects you get with what is quite often a fairly limited palette. I admire how much you are able to convey with a great economy of strokes. In my own work I tend to try and obscure my weakness with a great amount of detail and labour, so I really admire artists who can create focus and beauty in this fearless way.
