Erk, I thought that was a little animal head with a sweatdrop sticking out the ground and Binjee was gonna Wack-A-Mole-fu his ass for a second! That's mining? fWhew!
Man that egg looks like the crown jewel in that shot. Is that showing the emotion of his first egg harvested? The mini-scenery and propness of this series is great. This is exactly like the old one-shot webcomics of yor. (sometimes they'd have a short series mixed into the one-shots)

Mining is great in this game. Super fast and efficient. Hardcore.
There are different levels of egg quality. There are decent eggs (the worst), good eggs (basically just normal eggs that don't suck), perfect eggs (they sparkle), and shining eggs (they are sparkly AND shiny). The egg Binjee is collecting here is either perfect or shining, which are both expensive. I would probably say that because of the reverence Binjee is associating with finding this egg, he has got himself a shiny egg.

They should let you hatch that egg under the full moon on an equinox or something make a special type of chicken!
