Description
A player of mine joined our campaign late and wanted to play a character that sings. However, we already had a Bard in the party. So I challenged myself to come up with some non-Bard Character Concepts that had singing as the main part of their character/abilities.
I hope I managed to come up with some interesting variations!
Artificer (Rockstar) - Half-Orc Artillerist Artificer. Uses his mechanical microphone and speaker to have explosive concerts on the go.
Ranger (Princess) - Half-Elf Swarmkeeper Ranger. Uses their singing to command the swarm of songbirds by their side. Inspired by traditional fairy tail princesses.
Druid (Starsinger) - Drow Circle of the Stars Druid. Sings the songs of the stars to channel the might of the constellations.
Warlock (Avatar of the Kraken) - Wildhunt Shifter Pact of the Fathomless Warlock, Chants the ancient songs of the Kraken to channel its power and summon it.
Barbarian (Desertbringer) - Fire Genasi Storm Herald (Desert) Barbarian. Activates her rage by bursting into dramatic, powerful song.
Cleric (Conductor) - Tiefling Peace Domain Cleric. Uses calming song to bring peace to the people around him. His spiritual weapon are musical instruments that he conducts.
Fighter (Snake Whisperer) - Yuan-Ti Arcane Archer. Imbues his arrows with magic and controls them by softly chanting songs.
Wizard (Composer) - Tabaxi Order of the Scribes Wizard. Uses musical annotation to jot down spells and then casts them by singing them.
Monk (Drunken Sailor) - Human Way of the Drunken Master Monk. Belts out drunken sea shanties and drinking songs and fights to their rhythm.
Rogue (Songs of the Dead) - Kenku Phantom Rogue. Channels the power of the dead by mimicking their wails and songs.
Sorcerer (Storm Summoner) - Aasimar Storm Sorcery Sorcerer. As a child of a Storm Deity and a mortal, they channel their inner elemental power through song.
Paladin (Drums of Fear) - Human Oath of Vengeance Paladin. Intimidates his enemies by rhythmically banging his shield and chanting.
