I love the effect of the stairs' and railing's shadow! Even more effective in B&W. The way your legs are set at angles much like the stepping shadows helps to reinforce that imagery.

Have I mentioned lately how much I love your stuff? You've got an awesome eye for a camera. As you may have noticed, I have little to no artistic ability whatsoever (not unexpected in an engineer), which begs the question of why I am on DA.

the zig-zaggy shadows of the stairs are so stylized, they almost look like intentional designs on the floor, and you're looking at them. i like how the densest dark is in the left shadow; but you're leaning towards it, so the greatest light also hits you.

Love the lighting contrast, the really strong light against the deep harsh shadows makes this pic so dynamic. The poe is perfect I love how deep in thought you look. I wish it wasn't so centered, like maybe if you were a little bit off to the right? Since your body is leaning slightly to the left, kind of like your thoughts are wandering away with you. I don't know just ignore me -LOL

What I think would work great for this photo, is a vertical format. With lotsa negative space up top, where the stairs are. It would suit her pose alot more.
