Well, hm... the apple kinda helped them to have their first moment. To make it quick, they were all alone, talking and then she took one apple and gave to him so he could bite it, but she was still holding the apple, so she took it out before he finished the bitting, and then juice ran down his chin and she leaned over, to... hm, lick it.

Okay, so I won't say anything about the apple. I won't say that I think it's hilarious and that Cara deserves like, a million gold stars. I promise I won't...
I will instead comment on the use of a wayward pine as a Christmas tree. 'Tis a rather good book reference that not many people will get if they haven't read the books... of course, everyone knows about the apple 'cause of Sword of Lies and various fanfics, but the wayward pine... I think the moment in WFR where Kahlan is just about dragged back into the Underworld has got to be one of my favourites. Great significance
And I'm still not saying anything about how the Rada'Han and the apple have epic, epic significance also and that I wish you'd drawn them all in the Mud People's village. Not that the concept of them having Christmas isn't awesome enough anyway, but... yeah, my lips are still sealed
