Splatoon

Sophie has to be one of the most hard-working out of the SplatSquad, simply because she loves to do work. Because of this, many inklings mistake her as the team's captain. She doesn't mind this, though. Because she likes working to help others and volunteer, her role as the support member benefited both her and the team. She won't hesitate to switch to different roles if needed. It's been revealed that her hard-working personality came from her mother and father; both were active participants of the Squidbeak Splatoon during the end of the Great Turf War. Even while they were deployed, Sophie remained hard-working and wishing them safe travels. Now that they're retired and settled down, Sophie's mother and father have more time to bond with her.

Splatoon 2
Sophie hadn't changed much, even when the new Inkopolis Square opened up. However, this was also a time period where she started becoming sick rather easily. It was revealed this was due to her working too much. As a result, Sophie began a balanced routine of working while getting plenty of rest. She was very excited with the events during the Final; she wasn't aware that it was an actual war and believed it was a rare event like many other inklings and Octolings (Who weren't in the Octarian Army).
