When angered or on the verge of losing he crouches down (hands and knees) and emits a heavy (blinding) glow from every part of his body; resembling the glow (but not the heat) of the sun to blind or scare off his opponents. Takes a lot of energy, even before the magic even starts he has to get down because of how much energy it will take (no energy to stand).

Background: Marquis was born into an upper-middle class family, his father was a brewery manager that made a sweet tasting nectar that was very popular with the population. His mother is a blacksmith that often makes swords for knights, which are quite expensive! So, Marquis lived the good, and easy life. He got whatever he desired but was not spoiled. He was disaplined whenever he misbehaved around anyone when his parents were with him. Being an Arkanaian; he always had disgusted eyes lurking at him, making him uncomfortable around any other race. He was unsure of why they dispised his race so much, ignorant to the fact of his race coming from underground.
When he learned of his superior strength at the adolescent age, he decided to take on anything. Big mistake; seeing as though his mother was able to take him down in one sweep. Instead of being stupid, and causing a havoc; he decided to store his strength, and focus on other things. He took an interest in the military due to his parents saying that it was tradition, and would earn him respect for being an Arkanaian. It took him years until he was finally given the rank of Knight Hood.

Other Information:
+ Father and mother have power over light also but do not rely on it as much as Marquis does for a last resort.
+ Is not much of a partier but on his free time he drinks, and often flirts with other races (mostly Meizon women with long gorgeous hair or Draikan women)
+ Tail hangs close to the ground, and is sensitive to physical contact: rough tug is painful and will cause him to strike without warning. But if he knows the person and he allows it, a light tug/stroke is pleasurable.
+ Looks up to mother more than father (Momma's Boy)
+ Drinks with his father at times
